What sets you apart from other electrical contractors in the area?

For one thing, our many large commercial jobs and most government jobs require that contractors be licensed, insured, and bonded. We can go beyond that requirement and procure a construction bond for multimillion-dollar projects, which provides our clients extra peace of mind. Our extensive project experience also sets us apart. We have installed electrical systems inside new schools and existing hospital buildings, performed ongoing electrical maintenance along Florida’s Turnpike and the Sawgrass Expressway, and fixed electrical power problems at municipal police and fire stations. With this kind of experience, you know you can trust Universal Electric of Florida to do your job right.

What parts of Florida do you service?

We serve clients in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.

What are your hours of operation?

We typically work 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but we are available on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.

How do you charge clients for your services? By the hour or by the job?

The majority of our service clients are billed by the hour, but we offer fixed project and unit pricing for specific types of projects based on the work required.

If I have a critical electric problem after hours or on the weekend, how long will I have to wait for your electrician to arrive?

We have service electricians on-call 24/7. All of our emergency technicians and vehicles are radio or cell phone dispatched to ensure an immediate response. If you are in Broward County, we’ll be there within the hour. If you are in Palm Beach or Miami-Dade Counties, we’ll be there within two hours.
